Rainy Saturday

The midwife emailed me back and told me I was the first person who has ever had a problem with her payment requirements. Isn't that amazing? Over 20 years and every single person has been in agreement with it. Well, except the gal from my church, ironically, but other than that one, every single person. Incredible. Whatever.

Had fun at dinner last night with Evan's bowling partner's family. Only one lamp on the ceiling fan got broken. The dad grew up in Michigan, but in high school the family moved to Atlanta. He was so amazed at the mild winters, he said he didn't understand why the Midwest wasn't completely empty! He figured people just didn't know they didn't need to suffer harsh winters. Oh, that made me laugh.

Alec and I got the craft room and furniture all painted this morning. He, Ian and Dan are working on fencing in the gentle rain. We had two free weekends this month and it had to rain on both of them. Of course, we are in a drought, so you officially can't complain about rain.

The pups have doubled in size and are opening their eyes and trying to walk. They are cute in a super ugly way.
